Day 6 Last Day of Hawai'i

The day before I was a little disappointed from eating at the Ramen House.  Well, Kyoto-Ramen  today tops all ramen houses I've been.  I had ordered the Paitan Ramen with Japanese traditional noodles.  Let me sum it up by saying that my bowel had nothing remaining.  It was that delicious!

Ran errands today by finally mailing off the postcards and shipping the care box home filled with souvenirs.  I can only hope that nothings breaks. (crosses fingers).

Went to the Ala Moana Mall.  They have a LEGO store! Now is that awesome or what?

For dinner, it was Mr. Ojisan.  Maybe I was craving a blast of Texas medium done steak but the Wafu beef just did not hit the spot. John told me that the place was actually good because the food was prepared close to true Japanese style.  I need to get use to not eating with too many seasoning. This place has iichiko sake bottles that patrons decorated.  Pretty interesting.

This is my last full day in Oahu.  I am not looking forward to heading out because this island is gorgeous, relaxing and I love the beach.

Day 4 North Shore Day

Started the day with a gift from Chanel. Heading out to Kailua for breakfast at Moke's. It is North Shore day for surfing!

Last night was a restless night due to my bruises and mini cuts from surfing the day before. Just from paddling, I can feel muscles that I have not used feel sore. You can tell if you are paddling and laying right when your ribs are hurting.

Past by China Man's Hat rock.

The water at North Shore is clear, gorgeous and just being in it is nice!

Drove by Dole Pineapple Plantation.

Had lunch at Genki Ramen House. I got Combo A with extra ramen. Combo A consist of dumplings (extra during HH), fried rice and ramen soup.

Did some last minute shopping at Don Quijote. They have Spam flavored nuts! This place is an Asian Wal-Mart! Here, any place can sell liquor. They even have sake in a box!
