Texas OU Game

                   

Football: Started the day watching Texas beat the Sooners.  We watched the game at Christian's Tail Gate Bar.  The game overall could have been better but we won on this low scoring game. Met up with my good friends and met some new ones. 

Snack: Katherine and I went to Sweet Lola for some frozen yogurt.  It was not the best and had a small selection.  The toppings I give a fat zero for no sprinkles and mochi balls.  They do get a point for those chocolate balls.  They remind me of Sixlets but with a thicker shell.

Gal Time: Katherine and I chilled with some martini at her place.  It is always nice to catch up and spend some gal pal time. 

Wedding: I went as Luke's date to a wedding.  The wedding was an asian wedding but with a modern twist to it.  It was beautiful.  Met a lot of old and new faces.

After Party: Met up with my gals at Belvedere for some drinks. The place looked nice and the feel was ok.  Music could be better and the place was not that packed as we had hoped for.

Recap:  I was designated driver and thank goodness for google and Map App on my iPhone.  My friend was so drunk where he lead me in circles around Houston to every desination we had to go to.  Overall, I had a great time hanging with my friends and spending a weekend away from work! UT won!

Quad, Trio and Uno

Theme: The Leaf theme drained my battery like crazy. This is the Matte Nano Theme.

Lunch: Quad. Thanh Nhi. Liz, Ricky, Jeni and moi. Our ritual Wednesday get together!
Liz and Ricky. Ricky actually found money rolled up in his shirt. Odd yet exciting to find money!

Their grilled pork spring roll is always good! The crunch from the eggroll stuck in it makes eating it a tad bit better! :)

Desserts: Trio. Sweet n Short Cafe. Jeni, Liz and moi went to grab some drinks. We had our Wednesday Sisters moment.
Liz wanted a picture with the dried squid. She was trying to get closer to her Asian root.
Trio: At our finest.
Liz and her chips. I wonder about my gal sometimes.
I should have gotten the green tea like Jeni.

Liz killed her Oreo and Cream before any of us got the chance to even enjoy the first sip of ours.

Cry Baby: In the background, there is a drawing of a kid crying. Liz tried hard to show us her rendition of the kid.

First Time: Fail.

After many takes: Accomplished. lol
My attempt: Fail. I have the hardest time making a frown and on top of it... make believe to wail.
Stop: Barnes n Nobles. I saw this Listography. Interesting.
Uno: My gal Christine came to visit for the short 4 hours she did! We caught up as much as we can!
Dinner: Cheesecake Factory. Their mini corndogs are too cute! It was also good. So bad for the body though!!
Try: I want to try this place out. Even though it had undergone many different hands of ownership, they may have caught my interest with the words 'Cupcakes" :)
Garden: I had planted some cantelopes a few months ago. With the water restrictions and the hot sizzling heat, this is the biggest cantelopes I could get. So small and cute but yummy in my tummy!
Recap: Lunch with my Quad, desserts with my Trio and dinner with my Uno. Even though the time spent with each one of them was short, I had enjoyed the quick catch up.

My long time best friend and first roommate freshman year, Christine, is my Uno.

Trio: Wednesday Sisters. Jeni and Liz are my other best friends I have met through my past. We agree that everything happens for a reason and our friendship was a blessing to us. We are always there for each other when ever regardless how far we are or how busy we may be.

Quad: Ricky became my best friend ever since Union Park a few years ago. A friend that I can always count on and we are there for each other. :) A story there itself. Along our friendship, I had found out that he also knew Jeni and Liz. It's a small world after all!

I am very blessed today and every other day. Thankful for the time that each of my friends put aside to catch up with one another. What a great day on a Wednesday!

I will be happy to do a Quad, Trio and Uno any day, any time!
