It's pancakes and coffee day

Morning: Omelettry Had a meet up to have breakfast with Thi.  The day started off mild and cool, so it called for some warm pancakes! That place never disappoints me. No matter what I order, I have to satisfy my tummy with blueberry buttermilk pancakes. To all those that had inquired, I do eat my pancakes from the inside out.  The reason being is that I go straight for the moist and goodness.  There is no reason and no time to waste when it comes to deliciousness.  I do not like pancake crust for some reason, I see it as a waste of tummy space. :) The reason why there is some crust missing, is because Thi had to try some.  Typical to eat from the outside and miss out on the goodness in the inside.  So for some good home-style, missing mom's breakfast food, go here.  I've been going here for years. Service and food has yet to put a frown on my face. Two thumbs up!

Dog: Cu Nho.  He sleeps just as much or maybe even more than I do.  When I am getting ready for my day, he just lays there until I have to step out of the door. Lazy.

Snack: Bi-colored corn taste so good.

Field Trip: Lilly and Baby J (long hair)

Midnight Snack: Velveeta.  Oh my gosh, this is good!

Yoga: Black Swan Yoga Took Vinyasa Dance taught by Tyler. It was my first Vinyasa Dance and it is not going to be my last. I had so much fun just being free, moving free and having a good time! I danced like a fool, acted like a fool and felt good about it.  It was from 8:30-10:30 pm.  The session started off with regular vinyasa and gradually moved into some free flowing moves.  The fact that yoga is so non-judgmental, you can move freely and enjoy it.  Know your body, know how it wants to move, allowing it to move how it wants to move.  That was when the fun started.  We danced and pranced all around the studio and calmed down with some Sound Bath. The sound bath we had here was where we sat in a tight circle and just concentrated on our breathing, exhaling whatever comes out and just bathing your surrounding in sound, vibration, rhythm and peace. The session ended in the gong.  If you have never experienced this, you need to. I cannot explain the sensation of winding down, breathing to the vibration and just soaking in the positive vibes. This session was a great way for me to end my Friday night.

Recap: Dance is allowing the body to be free. I like free. Who doesn’t?

Houston Bound

Morning: Coffee and food from Fair Bean Coffee.  If you are a big fan of potatoes, eggs, cheese and sausages, you'll like their Tortilla Espanol

Snacks: First time ever have I seen and ate Kiwiberries and I like them a lot!

Field Trips: Curly and MiMi

Recap: I got off from work early.  It was not as busy this Friday due to the Texas OU game in Dallas.  Dallas is making their sales right now.  Since I had the evening off, I took off to Houston a day earlier than planned. In Giddings, I got stopped by the train.  I have not been stopped by the train in a long time so it was nice to have a different view of things.  Rather than looking around at a stop light, I enjoy trying to count all the boxcar. I do not know how many because I lost count taking the picture.

I ended up going to Pearland to visit my friend Alex to catch up before he moves to New Jersey after his rotation.  We met and watched Zombieland  1, Pearland is far out in the boonies and 2, the movies was funny yet gruesome in the beginning. I miss my Alex, really glad that I was able to catch up with him. Friends are awesome. Amen.

Game Day!

Morning: Got my morning fixed from a barista named Erin at Frank. http://www.hotdogscoldbeer.com She did a good job but for some reason my latte tasted better when Tyler made it. My dad is hooked on Starbucks but he still occasionally goes to Blue Marble Java.  I go there when I feel like getting some drive-thru convenient lattes.

Field Trips: MiMi (pink), Curly (orange), Cu Nho (blue), Jake (camey)

Game Day: UT played home against Colorado.  We won. 31-14.  Nice. :) Thank you www.channelsurfing.net for allowing me to watch my games anywhere.  Mom and I got into the spirit of rooting the Horns on!

Recap: We were pretty busy today but not as busy as I thought it would be for a home game. We sold a lot of dogs clothes today for some reason.  I believe we sold 5 shirts to Millie, 2 shirts to a gal with 120lb dog, 2 shirts for a chihuahua, and 2 shirts to a mid-sized 50 lb dog.  That made me happy! :)  If you do happen to purchase a shirt for your dog, please e-mail us your picture of them wearing it.  We are currently collecting photos to put together a  wall of pictures to display for all to see. You can e-mail them to warehouseliquor@gmail.com

Later on the night, I have to go downtown for two birthdays and then head back to my sister's for Allen's birthday.

Cherry toe socks kind of day

Morning: Started my day with breakfast at Whole foods. Fruits are always good even though I am allergic to them.  I did my Sweaty Yoga at Black Swan Yoga. Tyler did a great job! This is my fifth session doing yoga.  I feel really calm and at peace when I am practicing yoga.  This class was dedicated to me.  Why? I am giving the gift of yoga to my health and my outlook on life.  I do not know about other studios, but the two I love going to really makes me feel positive even about the negative things that comes up.  Among hanging out with friends and family, working out, reading and traveling, yoga makes me get out of bed just to make it in time for morning class. If yoga can be this good to me at the fifth session, I can only imagine how I will feel a month or even a year from now.

Lunch: Caught up with my friend Frank at Pho Danh.  It was nice to catch up.  I always try to make time for a friend.  Today was cold and rainy so pho always do the body good.  I love this weather.  This weather just makes me smile all day long! It is a nice chilly weather where you can breathe it in and know it is fall.  Fall is finally here in Texas people. About time! It is about time for me to bust out my toe socks to compliment my sandals kind of day.

Sweets: I have been craving sweets and happen to stumble upon these cute cupcakes at HEB on S. Congress.  They are covered with elite icing, my favorite! I am not a big butter cream icing kind of fan.

Dinner: Pappa Nguyen made some pork vegetable soup to eat. I enjoy home-cooked meals.

Field Trip: MiMi (pink), Crystal and CiCi

Recap: I had a good day. Rain and all, it was great!

Tyler had Nat King Cole's L-O-V-E playing during our warm-up stage. This song has been stuck in my head.  I want this song as part of my wedding's first dance.

Torchy's Kind of Day

Morning breakfast : Torchy’s Tacos. http://www.torchystacos.com/

Lunch: First Chinese BBQ. Got roast duck and pork. http://www.firstchinesebbq.com/

Work: Got some new tequila shaped as a bullet. Crazy. Hijos de Villa Bullet Reposado Tequila

Field Trips: Cu Lon & Cu Quay (tan)

Music: Today went well with Owl City. Their album Ocean Eyes is actually really good. http://www.myspace.com/owlcity

Recap: Did not do yoga today because I had to slang booze for 11 hours.  I am hoping that I can wake up in time to attend Keith’s session of Vinyasa at Dharma Yoga.  It did feel a bit weird to not be doing yoga or jogging today.  Though a day of rest is always good. I do not want to over exert my body. Gradual workout and healthy eating is key albiet I did not eat healthy today.

I am still debating about my return date in November. Finally I got the 'go' to decided.  I am also officially registered 2009 Atlantic City 51st Marathon participant. I had registered Rosita and I and crossing my fingers that everyone else did too.  Rosita is pregnant therefore we are doing the benefit walk (2 miles).  If anyone else is interested in joining, here is the link: http://bit.ly/E8YhE . This is for a good cause like any other benefit event.  The more the merrier!

I have a friend in Philadelphia that I would love to catch up with. Then couple of friends in NYC to have lunch/dinner.  I am having problems trying to find a place to stay within budget.  I have to remember that I will be part of my Rosita’s baby shower and Emmabelle’s 1st birthday.  I also have to get something for Jaiden’s 1st birthday that I will not be able to attend at the end of the month.  I need to get a gift for my cousin’s wedding that 11th and keep in mind that I do eat out a lot there.

I have a wedding I have to attend the 17th in Houston. This way I can spend time with my girls on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday evening I will be my good friend’s date and then catch up some more on our lives.  I still cannot believe we have been friends for 7 years. Though I am not surprised because I have many friendships that are 7+ yrs long.  I love and appreciate all my friends.  Without them, life is just plain and dull like  a plain breakfast taco. Must spice up our life like having soming yummy Torchy's Tacos!

Wednesday Cool Day

I had noticed that when I keep on laying in bed, my dog does not hesitate to do the same. He just lays there dazing at me and just do nothing.

Doing nothing is nice every once in a while. It allows us to not think and just relax.

Relaxing on a nice day is a cool thing to do.

Had lunch with the trios today at Thanh Nhi. I got the soda lemonade "my favorite" and chicken fried rice.  I ate only half and Liz ended up killing the other half along with her food. That gal can eat.

Purchased a Starbucks (Red) gift card for my dad. He drinks enough there for me to get a card that can automatically reload. Nice.

Dharma Yoga. My second day of yoga with Keith as the instructor for beginners.  It was a great class! I truly needed it . After the yoga session, I truly feel happier that I let go a lot of emotions and relax. Just allowing gravity to stretch my "melting butta body" is a great concept. My body is loose and not tensed.  If day two is this good, I truly look forward to day 3.

Chon Sum. Had Korean food for dinner. It was decent. I think Korea House and Korea Garden have better food. It was really a nice evening to be out and be active.
