Day 7 Traveling Agony
Heading out to Honolulu AIrport for my next destination.
Starbucks is granted packed anywhere. Obviously at 6:30 am, there is definitely a line just for some coffee. Though the wait is well worth it. Of course, no one can spell my name correctly.
I am a little disappointed that I can not find any name tag souvenirs with 'Lani' on it. Am I asking too much ? All I want is a dorky little tacky thing with my name on it. I am in Hawai'i, why isn't my name anywhere but on restaurants signs, street signs and everywhere else? Oh well, it will be a personal quest on my next trip. :)
After a tiring 5 hour plane ride, I am finally in LAX.
Can you believe I travel with all this luggage? I can not.
My next flight check in is not till 9:30 pm. I am starving and Jimmy comes just in time to pick me up.
True Korean food, here we go! Have to get the Kailbi and the spicy pork is good! As part of the side dishes, they serve banh cuon! Now that is pretty cool! It was really nice to catch up and really get to know my friend Jimmy on a personal level after all these years. He is going to do it big. A person with that kind of drive and determination, everything is within time and his reach.
The check in line at 9:30pm for my 1:30am flight is ridiculously long.
Got to stop by the Duty Free Store to pick up some stuff for the mother by request. This is going to be a long 3.5 hours wait till I fly.
